We’re Back - And We’re So Glad to See You Again
 

Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Supporters,

After more than a year of heartbreak, hard work, and hope, we’re overjoyed to share that DT’s Blue Ridge Java is officially open again in our original downtown Spruce Pine location!

As many of you know, Hurricane Helene brought unimaginable loss to our little corner of the world. In just moments, floodwaters took nearly everything - our equipment, our space, and a place that had been a second home to many of you for over 20 years. But what the storm couldn’t wash away was our spirit and your support.

Thanks to the love, generosity, and encouragement from our incredible community, we’ve rebuilt - not just the building, but the heart of what DT’s has always been: a welcoming, warm, community-focused café that serves more than just coffee.

We're Open - But The Journey Isn’t Over
While our doors are open and the espresso machine is running, the road to full recovery continues. We’re still working hard to pay off the costs of rebuilding and replacing everything we lost. The financial toll of this disaster has been steep, and we’re continuing to raise funds to help cover those remaining expenses.
